I found these activities from Allison McDonald's blog, No Time for Flashcards.  She has other cool Memorial Day (or patriotic) craft tutorials on her blog.

I would like to try this next year with my class.

This is a must-do for next year!  I think it's simple enough for a 4 and 5 year old to do!  If I can't wait an entire year, why not make one for Patriot's Day on September 11!
